November 16, 2017A 54 year old female, who underwent open Cholecystectomy for Gall bladder stone in 2012, had Bile duct injury during surgery. Since then patient had recurrent Jaundice and fever with abdominal pain. MRI showed Bile Duct injury with type 3 Benign Biliary stricture. Patient was suffering since 5 years. They contacted Dr Vineet Gautam, Liver surgeon and Gastrosurgeon at Choithram Hospital,Indore. Dr Vineet Gautam operated that patient, did Roux en Y Hepaticojejunostomy. Patient recovered well and discharged in 7 days. Since then, 11 months has passed and patient had no fever or jaundice.
